Beatles
Once again we have managed to turn up a number of rare Beatles items.
The highlight is Lot 340 which is 8mm colour, silent, cine film of the Fab Four taken during their tour to Scotland in 1964. Lasting for approximately two and a half minutes, the clips include coverage of their stay at The Four Seasons Hotel, St Fillans on the banks of Loch Earn and other locations. This is possibly the only surviving recording of the stay at this location.

We are also pleased to be offering a number of lots from the personal archive and collection of Dr. Jeffrey Kruger, MBE. Dr. Kruger was the founder and owner of the Ember Record label which, from the 1990’s onwards, became known as TKO Records. He also was the founder & owner of the famous Flemingo Club, Soho, London, which was renowned for Jazz, Blues & R&B. A famous figure in the music world from the 1950’s onwards we are offering posters, contracts, personal correspondence, programmes and other items covering a wide range of music such as Motown, Country, Jazz, Film & Cinema. A particularly interesting lot is 166 which is a Shure Microphone used at the Flemingo Club in the 1950’s. This microphone was used by the likes of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Tubby Hayes and many, many more. A great addition to any collection and sold with full provenance from Dr Kruger. .
